Great news — Varjak Paw has been short-listed for the prestigious West Sussex Children's Book Award! It's voted for by children all around the county; the final results will be announced in March. I've just visited 4 schools in Horsham and Bognor Regis, where I met hundreds of young readers, who asked lots of great questions and were very cool indeed! Thanks so much to everyone who organised these brilliant events — and to everyone who said Varjak Paw was their favourite book!
